Simple and Basic Back & Abdominal Stretches
Basic back and abdominal stretches which are ideal for doing after one of the Kardys Fitness abdominal or back workouts.
Make sure when you are lying on your front you stretch through your abdominals and up and not just up! This will help you keep good form.
Remember to breathe deeply and evenly throughout the stretches and do not worry about how far you stretch – the most important thing is that you feel the stretch and that will naturally improve over time.
It’s always important to bring the muscles back to pre-exercise length or even greater. Many people forget this and just train the muscle and carry on with their day.
My greatest advice is to do back and ab stretches after every workout or if time is a constraint please make sure you target these after doing any core strengthening above all else.
